The Federation of Uganda Football Associations, FUFA, has announced the dates for the 6th edition of the Odilo Primary Schools Championship.
The tournament will run from March to September 2026 and will involve primary school pupils aged between 11 and 13 years from across the country.
According to FUFA, registration at district level will take place on March,5th -30th followed by district competitions on April 1st -30th , Zonal matches are scheduled for May 1st -30th, while regional finals will be played on June 8th -22nd.
Teams that win at the district level will advance to the regional competitions, and one team from each region will qualify for the national finals.
The national stage of the championship will be held between July 20th and August 15th at the FUFA Technical Centre in Njeru.
Schools interested in participating are required to pay a registration fee of UGX 50,000.
Odilo Primary school championship is aimed at promoting grassroots football and identifying young talent across Uganda.
The 5th edition of the championship last year 2025 was won by Kampala Grammar Junior School from the Central region in the boys’ category while Oasis Primary School from West Nile emerged champions in the girls’ category.
