Gulu College of Health Sciences has been crowned the boys’ champion of the 2026 wood ball competition during the ongoing 24th National Health Institutions Ball Games, being hosted at the college playground in Gulu City.
Gulu College secured the title on Wednesday after winning two gold medals and one silver medal.
Uganda Institute of Allied Health and Management Sciences finished second with one gold medal, two silver medals, and one bronze medal.
In the girls’ category, Uganda Institute of Allied Health and Management Sciences emerged champions after winning two gold medals and one bronze medal.
A total of 10 health training institutions competed in the wood ball event out of the 41 institutions participating in this year’s 24th National Health Institutions Ball Games.
