Makerere University Business School, MUBS on Thursday beat Gulu University 2-0 in the Pepsi University Football League.
The match was played from Nakawa in Kampala with MUBS scoring their first goal in the half time and a goal in the second half to secure the win.
MUBS now tops Group D in the standing having played 2 games, winning all and accumulating 6 points while Gulu University sits in second place, having played 2 winning 1, losing 1 and accumulating 3 points.
Gulu University will now focus their attention as they wait to host St. Lawrence University.
Other matches played on Thursday saw African Renewal University losing to International University of East Africa (IUEA) 1-3 and Bugema University beat Muteesa 1 Royal University 2-1.
