The new Gulu Archbishop, Most Reverend Raphael P’Mony Wokorach will be installed on Friday 12th of July 2024 at St Joseph’s Cathedral, according to a statement.
He was appointed Archbishop Gulu Archdiocese on March 22, 2024.
Dr. John Baptist Odama, the Archbishop Emeritus of Gulu who is now the Apostolic Administrator Gulu Archdiocese said the installation of the new Archbishop will be led by the Papal Nuncio, Luigi Bianco.
Dr. Odama urged all the Christians and well-wishers to prepare to welcome the new Archbishop and grant him all the necessary support to ease his work of leading the Christians.
Archbishop Wokorach, 63 a member of the Comboni Missionary until the appointment has been Bishop of Nebbi Catholic Diocese since March 2021.
Meanwhile, Bishop Wokorach was born in 1961 and was ordained a priest in 1993, appointed bishop of the diocese of Nebbi in 2021.
