Uganda Cranes Head Coach Paul Put has named a 28-man squad for a busy international break featuring two AFCON 2027 qualifiers and two international friendlies.
Uganda will face Tunisia on September 24th and Libya on September 29th before playing DR Congo on October 2nd and 5th.
The squad includes goalkeepers Denis Onyango, David Lukwago and Hannington Ssebwalunyo.
Defenders are Toby Sibbick, Jonathan Odongo, Rogers Torach, Aziz Kayondo, Herbert Achayi, Herbert Bockhorn, Nathan Asiimwe, Geoffrey Lubanga Kene, Hillary Mukundane and Gavin Kizito.
Midfielders are Baba Alhassan, Noble Okello, Kenneth Semakula, Allan Oyirwoth and Joseph Seremba, while the forwards are Allan Okello, James Bogere, Travis Mutyaba, Denis Omedi, Rogers Mato, Hassan Mubiru, Sadam Masereka, Steven Mukwala, Richard Basangwa and Frank Sebufu.
Put confirms Jordan Obita and Elio Capradossi are out injured, while Khalid Aucho, Salim Jamal, Uche Ikpeazu, John Paul Dembe, Rogers Bobosi Byaruhanga and Jude Ssemugabi miss out due to limited playing time, club situations or recovery from injuries.
Put stated that the door remains open for the absent players to return once they regain fitness and match rhythm.
