Anita Anet Among, the Speaker of Parliament, on Tuesday morning visited the resting place of her predecessor the late Rt. Hon. Jacob Oulanyah.
Among, accompanied by other top government officials laid wreath on the grave of the late Jacob Oulanyah before inspecting the deceased unfinished multibillion shillings countryside home in Ajuri village, Lalogi sub county in Omoro District.
Oulanyah died in March, 20, 2022 in Seattle City, Washington, United States of America where he had been rushed for a specialized treatment.
Among promised to continue supporting the family of the late Oulanya for the great love and dedication the late had shown to the country while he was still alive.
Among is in the region as parliament plans to hold its first regional sitting in Gulu City starting on Wednesday 28 to Friday 30 August, 2024.
The regional Parliamentary sitting will be held in four traditional regions of Northern, Eastern, Central, and Western Uganda.
