Lwani Soccer Academy were officially crowned champions of the 2025/2026 Gulu District Football Associations, DFA 5th Division on Sunday at the UPDF 4th Division Playground in Gulu City, following their final fixture against Massvilla.
Lwani finished top of the table with 67 points from 26 matches, recording 21 wins, 4 draws and just 1 loss, with a goal difference of plus 37.
They are promoted to the Provisional 4th Division League for next season alongside runners-up Paicho Young Angel, who ended the campaign with 58 points from 18 wins, 4 draws and 3 losses.
National Youth SC finished 3rd with 50 points, followed by Legacy FC and Gulu Winterbury on 39 points each.
At the other end of the table, Super Goans FC and Kweyo Soccer Club have been relegated to the lower league, Provisional 6th Division.
Super Goans finished 13th with 17 points from 3 wins, 8 draws and 14 losses, while Kweyo SC ended bottom with 12 points from 2 wins, 6 draws and 17 defeats.
