The Federation of Uganda Football Associations, FUFA has boosted all 18 Uganda Premier League clubs with official competition balls ahead of the 2026/27 StarTimes Uganda Premier League, UPL season.
FUFA has distributed a total of 540 Zakayo match balls, with each of the 18 clubs receiving 30 balls.
The balls were handed over to the clubs by FUFA Executive Committee Member, Mr. Deo Mutabazi.
The equipment, valued at approximately UGX 60 million shillings, is part of FUFA’s strategic plan to support football clubs with essential sports equipment.
The distribution is aimed at helping clubs prepare adequately for the upcoming Premier League season and ensuring the use of the official competition ball throughout the campaign.
The 2026/27 StarTimes Uganda Premier League season is expected to feature 18 clubs competing for the national top-flight title.
