At least nine police recruits in Oyam District this morning failed to turn up for the physical fitness and medical tests. 85 candidates were selected for the exercise.
However, only 74 underwent the rigorous tests.
Police authorities are also investigating how two young women shared the same names and National Identification Number (NIN).
The anomalies were discovered during the scrutiny of the documents that both shared with the police recruitment team.
Jimmy Patrick Okema, the North Kyoga Region Police Public Relations Officer (PRO), confirmed the report in a statement, adding that they later found out that the two women shared same names but have different NINs.
