Police in Pader district are holding two juveniles for allegedly stabbing a 24year old man to death in Adongkene village, Tenam sub county, Pader district.
The suspects, whose names can’t be revealed since they are minors, include a17 year old boy and a15 year male colleague.
They were arrested on Sunday afternoon, accused of waylaying and stabbing Christopher Okwera to death on Sunday morning at around 5am.
Preliminary reports indicate that the two and deceased had some disagreement at a night disco place at Adongkene trading centre prior to the incident.
The deceased was stabbed several times in the chest and stomach killing him instantly.
His lifeless body was discovered at around 6am by some people who were returning from the same disco place and immediately informed the authorities.
Omara Belmos Kazura, the Area Local Council Three Chairperson, confirmed the incident saying the two boys were arrested to support with the investigation.
The deceased body has been taken to Yot Kom Hospital in Kitgum for postmortem while the two suspects are being held at Pader District Central Police Station.
This comes shortly after a12 year old boy in Mila village, Paiula sub-county in Pader District on Saturday, stabbed his 10-year-old cousin to death during a play session gone wrong.
This brings to three cases of murder reported in Pader in a space of 24 hours.
