Three students of Gulu University are in police custody accused of forging examination and registration cards to enable them sit end of semester exams.
They include Oling Joseph, Onegiu Simon and Atyama Joel, all are in year II pursuing bachelor degree in education.
Oling had not paid tuition fee for this semester amounting to UGX 1.2M and he also has a pending balance of UGX 390,000. Onegui has a balance of UGX 3.9M while Atyama has a balance of UGX 2.6M
They were nabbed on Tuesday and Wednesday by the accounts department while doing exams and handed over to police.
Police also picked four men from DCL Annex Cafe along Acholi Road in Laroo/Pece division, Gulu city accused of printing the fake exam cards.
The university spokesperson James Onono says the suspects will be discontinued from sitting the end of semester exams that started on Monday.
