A man is on the run in Jenge Village, Kitgum Municipality in Kitgum District after he allegedly killed his mother’s lover after finding them making love in a potatoes’ garden.
Police identified the suspect as Siliaman Ocira, a resident of Jenge Village, Kitgum Municipality in Kitgum District.
According to reports, the suspect killed 54-year-old Ben Ocakacon after he found him having sex with his mother in a garden near their home.
He reportedly killed the victim with a log.
The incident happened on the night of October 31, 2023, at around 9pm.
The body of the victim was retrieved and transported to Kitgum General Hospital for postmortem.
Fred Enanga, the Uganda Police Force Spokesperson confirmed the incident in a press statement and said the suspect is still at large.
He adds that efforts are in place to track the suspect down and arrest him so that he can face the law.
