For the first time in history, Kitgum Municipality in Kitgum District will be hosting the 2024 National Primary School Athletics Competition.
The national sports event will kick off on May 5. It is expected to climax on May 16, 2024. Bomah Grounds is the venue of the national competition.
Canwat Angwech Pido, the Kitgum District Sports Officer, confirmed the development to Mega FM, adding that officials from the Ministry of Education and Sports are expected to arrive in the district to ascertain the condition of the playgrounds.
