President Yoweri Museveni has congratulated Felix Tshisekedi, the President-elect of the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) upon his re-election victory.
President Museveni also pledged the DRC’s President of brotherly cooperation between the two East African countries.
According to Museveni, DRC armed forces has been key in dismantling the Islamist, ADF rebels.
Tshisekedi beat 12 other presidential candidates to win the election. He won by 78 percent. He will now serve his second final five-year term.
